POLITICAL MEETING

 Around the bend

Speedily hurtling

To a sudden halt

Brake screeching.

In the middle of the road

Politicians fist waving

Impress their views

Loudspeakers blaring.

Crawling by

Tumult and mob

Elections nearing

Politicians on the job.

A glare of anger

Then eyes incredulous widen

For on loudspeakers were

“Shanti Sounds" written.
