You have enough friends

And even more enemies.

You have a caring family

Then soul mine, why be so lonely.

Enemy, friend, family

Do I know any of them completely.

Can I be sure of their reactions

When faced with crucial situations.

Or will a friend surprise

With ill thought, deed unwise.

Or will an enemy shock

Being kind when I am in the dock.

So I am lonely

For I never meet them truly

Hesitations and suspicions mar

The figures I see from afar.
